What to Expect

The essential elements of our weekly worship services are prayer, congregational singing, and expositional preaching. Morning worship also includes the ministry of a small choir. Our music is a mix of old hymns and newer songs, accompanied by piano.

After morning worship there is a short coffee fellowship, an informal time for building relationships through conversation. Fellowship time is followed by Sunday school classes for children, teens, and adults.

Wednesday night prayer meetings begin with singing favorite hymns, followed by a short challenge, and then prayer requests and prayer. The teens meet separately for an activity and Bible study.

There is not a dress code at York Bible Church for members or guests. Our pastor and ministry leaders, as well as many of our church family, dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress. However, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at York Bible!
